The Embassy of the Czech Republic will open the exhibition Love Yourself, featuring award winning Czech artist Dita Pepe, at 6 pm on Thursday, September 22, 2016. This moving and intimate photography and documentary project examines the personal philosophies and values of various women living in different social environments and life situations in the postmodern liquid times. The artist utilizes photography as a therapeutic means to self-love and happiness. A Q&A with the photographer opens the exhibition. Witness a gallery of women and their perspective on their own image.
This program is a part of the Mutual Inspirations Festival 2016 – Martina Navrátilová, honoring a woman who became the best tennis player of all time while struggling with her own image and identity and learning to love herself.
